You have been referred a 65 female on a bisphosphonate for an extraction and immediate dental implant on #19. What is the best way to proceed? The patient wants to know her risk of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws (MRONJ) and what you will do to reduce it? This comprehensive overview
of MRONJ will cover this and more. It will review medications that cause MRONJ and which ones are more problematic, along with the frequency and risk of disease.
