Special interview with Dr. Hammer & Dr. Young to commemorate Veterans Day

Daniel A. Hammer, DDS, FACD, FACS and Samuel Young, DMD sit down in an interview style conversation where they share their perspectives on the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery specialty as well as their time in the military. Dr. Hammer, a distinguished Maxillofacial Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgeon, asks Dr. Young about his extensive expertise in the specialty and his service.

Dr. Young has had a decorated career in the Navy and been in leadership positions at multiple naval medical centers across the world. Most notably, he was the Officer in Charge of the Surgical Team for the Casualty Receiving Treatment Ship CRTS-8 during Operation Iraqi Freedom, which provided first line surgical care for the wounded.
