Shaun R. Young, D.D.S

Shaun Young

A Tampa native, Dr. Shaun Young was born and raised in Brandon, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville. There, he was a student-athlete and played on the Men’s Tennis Team. He then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree while also serving as the Dental school class president. During this time, he met his wife, Dr. Valentina Espinosa.

Dr. Young completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also served as the Administrative Chief Resident. His exceptional surgical training and exposure to multiple community hospitals serving diverse populations have afforded him invaluable experience and knowledge in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Young’s surgical expertise includes dentoalveolar surgery, implants and bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, oral pathology, and temporomandibular joint surgery.

Dr. Young has a strong passion for helping others. With his meticulous surgical planning and execution, he constantly strives to make a positive and lasting impact on his patients.

He is also a consultant with privileges for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Morton Plant Northbay Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital.

Mark W. Mitchell, D.D.S

Dr. Mark W. Mitchell is a Diplomate of the American Mark MitchellBoard of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

He is a Summa cum Laude graduate of the West Virginia University Dental School, and has been serving the community in and surrounding New Port Richey, Clearwater & Tampa for more than 30 years.

A recipient of the distinguished Robinson Gold Medal Award for highest academic average at West Virginia University Dental School, Dr. Mitchell has continued his commitment to excellence by staying abreast of the latest developments in the field of Oral Maxillofacial surgery.

He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and is section chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Mease/Morton Plant Hospital. He also enjoys surgical privileges at the following hospitals; Mease Health Care Dunedin, Mease Health Care Countryside, and North Bay Hospital.

Dr. Mitchell has more than twenty years of extensive expertise in his field and has been inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

His practice specializes in the surgical restoration of the oral cavity and he is regarded by his peers as a leading surgeon and educator. His highly regarded abilities have lead to thousands of patients experiencing lasting and healthful dental and maxillofacial restorations.

Uday Mehta, DMD, MD

Dr. Mehta was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. He immigrated to the United States in 1998 and completed his undergraduate degree at The University of South Florida.

He completed his D.M.D. at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and then went on to complete his M.D. at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the University of Florida, where he also resided as Chief Resident. He also completed a year of General Surgery at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

He is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is licensed to practice both dentistry and medicine in the state of Florida.

Dr. Mehta is honored to serve on the Florida Board of Dentistry as an adviser to the Anesthesia Committee which upholds and maintains the high standard of regulations for outpatient sedation in the state.

As a partner at MOSAIC, Dr. Mehta is proud to be part of a team that offers high quality oral surgical services as an outpatient and continues the MOSAIC tradition to be very active in providing inpatient care to patients with facial trauma and infections.

Dr. Mehta’s current clinical practice in the office is focused on dentoalveolar surgery, implant and bone grafting surgery, orthognathic and corrective jaw surgery, management of oral pathology,  and management of temporomandibular joint disorders.

Since 2013, Dr. Mehta has been a consultant for Maxillofacial Surgery at trauma center at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. As one of the only local Maxillofacial Surgeons specializing in facial trauma surgery, he spends considerable time taking care of patients with facial injuries which can involve extensive facial reconstruction.

He is also a consultant with privileges for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Morton Plant Northbay Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital.

Samuel Landrian, DMD, MD

Dr. Landrian was born in Camaguey, Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 2001. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2009 where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and Cell Science.

Dr. Landrian then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (D.M.D) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and went on to obtain his Medical Degree (M.D) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed a year of General Surgery as well as an extensive anesthesia training.

Dr. Landrian then completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the renowned University of Maryland/R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, serving as chief administrative resident in his last year. He is also a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose areas of interest include outpatient ambulatory anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, implants, corrective jaw surgery, trauma, reconstruction and benign pathology.

Dr. Landrian’s passion is to provide the highest quality of patient centered care, tailored to the needs of every individual. He understands healthcare decisions can be difficult and is committed to being a trusted partner.

Dr. Landrian is a lifelong Florida Gator fan.
