Collagen White Paper

Osteo Science Foundation Collagen White Paper

An Osteo Science Foundation-funded Research Project

Since our founding, the use of regenerative materials has been a major focus of the Foundation, and there remains no more relevant topic to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons than the use of collagen in the promotion of healing and in various regenerative procedures.

This white paper is one more accomplishment that we – as an OMFS community – can all be proud of, and we extend our utmost thanks to Jay P. Malmquist, DMD, Mr. Todd Scantlebury, and R. Gilbert Triplett, DDS, PhD, for their vision, expertise, and tireless dedication to this exemplary work.

Now, more than ever, we at Osteo Science Foundation recognize that along with research and education, collaboration with colleagues and partners world-wide is fundamental to uncovering the promise that awaits our specialty. While our work remains anchored in advancing hard and soft tissue research and education in Oral and CranioMaxillofacial surgery, we’ve proudly extended our focus by adding global programming to our portfolio – allowing the Foundation to more significantly benefit patients and surgeons in the international community.
