Dr. Brittany Ecker was born and raised in Miami, FL. She is a first generation Cuban-American who’s parent’s immigrated from Cuba at a young age. She moved to Boston, MA for her undergraduate education, where she graduated from Boston College with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Economics. During her undergraduate training, she developed a strong interest in dentistry, specifically oral surgery. She then moved on to New York City to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she confirmed her desire to pursue oral surgery. After completion of her doctorate, Dr. Ecker continued her training in New York City as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident. Her primary interests are dentoalveolar surgery with an emphasis on implantology and hard and soft tissue augmentation, as well as orthognathic surgery and trauma. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, eating new cuisines, pampering her French bulldog and spending time with family and friends.
