Prior to residency, Dr. Hong grew up in Irvine, California and attended the University of the Pacific for college, majoring in biology. He then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and later matched at the Massachusetts General Hospital for OMFS residency, subsequently graduating from Harvard Medical School. His clinical interests are broad and include dentoalveolar and implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, benign pathology, and facial trauma. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, swimming at the beach, and lifting at the gym.
