Dr. Ian Lehrer is currently an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident at Nassau University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His clinical interests include implantology, orthognathic surgery, and cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Prior to starting residency, his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery relocated him to Fort Worth, Texas where he did an Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital. His dental training was completed at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and he graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Allyson, going on plant-based culinary adventures in New York City, and running. He is very excited to participate in the Osteo Science Clinical Observership Program.
