Dr. Junaid Mundiya went to The Brooklyn Hospital Center for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. He is a New York native, and grew up on Long Island, N.Y. Dr. Mundiya earned his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with concentration in biology and chemistry at CUNY Queens College. He then attended Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia to pursue a Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Mundiya started his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery career at John H. Stroger, Cook County Hospital in Chicago where he completed a year long internship. Since then, he is at The Brooklyn Hospital Center to continue his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His primary interests are dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, tissue regeneration, dental rehabilitation, trauma, and orthognathic surgery. In his free time he enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
