Lorenza Donnelly is an oral and maxillofacial surgery resident at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she initially became involved in the OMS specialty. Her surgical interests include orthognathics, pathology, craniomaxillofacial trauma, temporomandibular joint surgery, and bone augmentation. Her professional interests include clinical research, dental student and resident mentorship and education, activity in the resident organization (she currently serves as the District III Representative on the ROAAOMS Executive Committee), and advocacy for the profession. She is also passionate about the advancement of women and underrepresented minorities in oral and maxillofacial surgery and the positive psychosocial impact of OMS procedures on our patients . She currently lives in Durham, NC with her husband, infant daughter, German shepherd, and husky.
