Dr. Van Hoof was a Captain in the United States Air Force and a third year Oral & Maxillofacial surgery resident at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX when he participated in the Clinical Observership Program. He grew up in Appleton, WI and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2016 as a health professions scholarship program (HPSP) recipient. Upon graduation he completed an AEGD in Omaha,NE at Offutt AFB. During this time, exposure to more advanced surgical procedures and IV sedation further solidified his desire to become an Oral Surgeon. Particular areas of interest to him are Orthognathic surgery, Implantology and advanced bone regeneration techniques. When he isn’t in clinic, you will likely find him outside backpacking, hunting/fishing, or mountain biking. He is excited about this opportunity to learn from experts in the field in a unique 1-on-1 private practice setting where he can apply this knowledge to his future patients.
