Dr. Muñoz grew up in Bogota, Colombia and in Sarasota, Florida. She completed her undergraduate education at UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University as a Robertson Scholar. She then moved to New York City to pursue her dental education at Columbia University. She completed her residency at Highland Hospital’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Oakland, CA.
