Dr. Kwon was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the midwest for middle and high school. He majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned his dental degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Kwon later matched into Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Michigan Medicine and earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School.
