Osteo Science Foundation Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship

In 2019 Osteo Science Foundation commenced a partnership with the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS).  The missions of both organizations share the core tenents of improving patient care through research and education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  While Osteo Science Foundation promotes regenerative medicine, the IAOMS helps us reach oral and maxillofacial surgeons internationally. With over 90 organizations around the world affiliated with IAOMS, Osteo Science Foundation has a unique opportunity to promote regenerative medicine through strategic collaborations with IAOMS.

Osteo Science Foundation is proud to support the IAOMS through the Osteo Science Foundation Training Fellowship, which offers one trainee surgeon a one-year immersion in Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery (offered in Beijing, China or Shanghai, China). Regenerative medicine will be a core focus of the fellowship.  Since it’s inception, 24 surgeons have received Fellowships through the IAOMS. 

How To Apply

The IAOMS Foundation Fellowship Program provides Senior Trainees and recent graduate surgeons an immersion year in their specialty combined with an unmatched cultural experience. For the 2020 – 2021 program year the IAOMS Foundation, along with the Osteo Science Foundation, the OMS Foundation and KLS Martin will award four Fellowships: two in Oral and Maxillofacial Oncologic & Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery and two in Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Surgery.
