Jeffrey S. Marschall, DMD, MD, MS

Dr. Marschall is an assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa. He earned his dentalĀ and medical degrees from the University of Louisville where he completed an internship in general surgery and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in pediatric cleft and craniomaxillofacial surgery at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida. In addition, Dr. Marschall completed a research fellowship in tissue engineering at the University of Zurich hospital in Switzerland. His clinical practice focuses on maxillofacial and craniofacial surgery with an emphasis in reconstructive facial surgery from traumatic and acquired conditions, orthognathic surgery, repair of cleft lip and palate, and complex craniofacial conditions. Lastly, Dr. Marschall’s research interests include computer-aided-design/manufacturing, 3D printing, craniofacial tissue engineering and anatomic/surgical outcomes from pediatric CMF conditions and procedures.
