Meagan Miller, DDS

Dr. Meagan Miller currently serves as the Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University in Southern California. Dr. Miller plays a vital role on quality improvement committees at both the university and hospital levels, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and safety standards. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and National Board of Dental Anesthesia.

Her clinical and research interests encompass maxillofacial trauma, reconstructive surgery, and the integration of regenerative medicine in surgical care. Dr. Miller’s dedication to regenerative science was recognized early in her career when she was selected for the Geistlich and Boyne Research Internship. Her research contributions include studies on bone regeneration, the use of biologics, and platelet-derived growth factors in maxillofacial applications.

Nationally, Dr. Miller is active in education and professional development. She presents on topics such as surgical simulation, competency-based training, and trauma management. Her work aligns with the mission of the Osteo Science Foundation, promoting excellence in regenerative research and evidence-based education. Dr. Miller is committed to fostering the next generation of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, enhancing both their technical skills and scientific inquiry.
