Prof. Dr.mult. Robert Sader graduated in 1987 in Medicine and 1991 in Dentistry. He completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Technical University Munich in 1995, with a specialization in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1998. In 1999, he achieved the state doctorate and lecture qualification and in 2002 he moved to Basel, Switzerland as deputy head of the University Department for Reconstructive Surgery.
Since December 2004, he has been an appointed professor, director and chair of Oral, Cranio-Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt.
Currently, Professor Sader is the dean for clinical student affairs and medical director and CEO of the University Dental Institute “Carolinum”. He is president of the German Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry,” the Frankfurt Dental Association founded in 1863 and Executive Board Member of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry and the International Foundation of Cleft Lip and Palate. Since 2018 he is the Chairman of the Oral Reconstruction Foundation.
